Parsnip Gnocchi in Gorgonzola Butter – House made gnocchi with roasted parsnips and herbs. Sauteed with spinach in gorgonzola butter.
Vegan Roasted Garlic Potato Soup – Our house soup of Yukon gold potatoes, lots of roasted garlic, aromatics, thyme and love.
Local Winter Salad – Shredded napa cabbage, salad greens, multi colored carrots, pickled watermelon radish, thinly sliced leeks, shaved turnips. Dressed with our lemony, garlicky olive oil based house dressing.
Wagyu Sirloin with Herbed Cognac Butter– A petite cut of our silky wagyu sirloin topped with Ohio Amish butter infused with a cognac reduction and fresh marjoram. Served over roasted garlic mashed potatoes with roasted local organic carrots. 25.19
Maple Bacon Scallops Leek and Butternut Risotto – Wild caught sea scallops seared until crisp and about medium and topped with local maple syrup and Applewood bacon. Served on bed of our creamy risotto made with organic arborio rice, roasted local butternut squash, local leeks and parmesan. 30.19
Vegan Mushroom Bourguignon – A slow coked French inspired stew of portabella, shitake and crimini mushrooms with red wine, rich veggie stock, aromatics, pearl onions, fresh marjoram and love. Served over our vegan roasted garlic mashed potatoes 20.19

We are an eclectic and quaint cafe in the heart of downtown Yellow Springs, OH.
We believe in "from scratch" cooking . Almost everything is made in house including all breads, veggie burgers, burgers, gyros, jams, hot sauce, dressings, soups, sauces and on and on all the way down to the pickles.
We believe in keeping it local. We source our food from 20+ local farms some of them certified organic but all of them naturally minded that refrain from the use of pesticides, GMOs, growth hormones or antibiotics. Not everything is local, I mean, no one grows olives in Ohio, but we do our best and wouldn't have it any other way.
We believe in sustainability. From meticulously sourced seafood with the most sustainable fishing methods to handmade patio furniture made from old wood pallets. We use only compostable carryout containers and a local farm composts all of our food and paper waste.
We believe in seasonal creativity. Weekly dinner specials using the best of what the farmers have to offer. Vegan/Vegetarian options galore including classic meat dishes transformed. Chef's Choice anything goes "Vick" Burgers. Specialty seasonal pancakes and daily omelet specials.
We believe in classic cuisine and world cuisine done right. From fresh baked biscuits and gravy made with local cream and sausage to our famous thin and crispy pancakes to huevos rancheros to gyros and falafel to Irish chicken, wagyu steak, Thai peanut tofu and shrimp and grits. There is not a style of cuisine we don't love and prepare with love.
